Delta THC 8 gummies – Not just gummies but THC-8
Delta THC 8 Gummies – we’re under impression that there’s no need for introduction.
We see them every day these days.
But, screw the delta THC 8 gummies we would like to start deeper.
This article wants to look deeper into what the hell is Delta THC-8.
Wow, what times we’re living – is THC finally legal?
Not necessarily, but times like there would have been impossible a few decades ago.
If you remember that Marijuana cartel or let’s say Marijuana itself was a no.1 enemy in America’s war on drugs.
THC vs CBD
You do not need a lot of research to conclude that the Cannabis craze started with CBD.
This cannabinoid (there are more than 100 in the plant) is a sister cannabinoid to the THC, but THC does make you high, CBD doesn’t.
If we want to be more profound we can talk about THC as psychoactive and CBD not.
But, the term “psychoactive is a little bit misleading, because it literally means altering the mind.
CBD influences the mind – its reported anxiolytic effects are proof that CBD has mind-altering qualities.
It works differently in our system as THC though.
We have two main types of receptors in our endocannabinoid system. If you have never heard of the endocannabinoid system,
THC is activating CB1 and CB2.
CBD is inhibiting them.
It works opposite to THC.
The difference is in “intoxication”
Better than to talk about “psychoactivity” is to talk about intoxication.
Intoxication is a good pointer where everybody knows that it is bringing us to states where we are no longer in total control.
THC is intoxicating.
It is the strong agonist of CB1 receptors.
If you put the person under MRI to scan his brain, you would see that THC is influencing the blood flow to the prefrontal cortex.
These areas of the brain control attention, executive function, different motor skills.
It is also certain that THC is influencing the reward system of the brain. People who smoke THC or “pot” experience food cravings for instance.
It’s because their sensory and reward circuitry is influenced by THC.
CBD does not do that.
It influences many endocannabinoid receptors we have all over our bodies. But, it is not activating the CB1 receptor.
In fact, there is a study that concludes that CBD is actively inhibiting the metabolism of THC – Pubmed
What is interesting enough is that the same study concludes that when inducing CBD, it had minimal impact on THC-induced behavior.
Once you get smoke THC you just gotta wait till it goes away. It is not going to help that nausea too much.
CBD is not intoxicating though.

And what about THC is it becoming legal too now?
There is a good reason for THC being illegal. Although we could dive deeper into the philosophy of state and society…
But, we agree that some regulation on intoxicating THC is common sense.
Especially, for the young people and teenagers, who are still developing their characters.
So, how come THC is now legal, or is becoming?
And you can have it in Delta THC 8 Gummies?
All of a sudden the fuzz is around THC not CBD.
Oh ok, it’s labeled Delta – THC 8 now, but aren’t they the same?
Let’s look at it.
THC 8 vs. THC 9
Ok, what the hell are you speaking about THC 8 and THC 9
Well, THC 9 is our well – knows friend – a reefer, dope, and you know that the marijuana dictionary.
Delta THC – 8 is an isomere of Delta THC 9 or the dope.
Isomers are compounds being alike at the molecular level.
They have the same amount of atoms, but they are arranged differently in space.
That’s totally enough for a compound to have different properties or qualities.
The shape and the length between certain bonds say the bonds between atoms of carbon are crucial.
They are minerals in nature that are perfectly alike on a molecular level, yet they have different shapes and hey you have a different product.
It turns out that if you choose the right method you can make Delta THC 8 out of THC 9 as this study concludes. (Pubmed)
And one study conducted on rats has shown similar patterns of influencing behavior.
In this study, scientists have observed a significant increase in appetite levels in before food-deprived mice.
Doses, in fact very low of 0.001 mg/kg delta(8)-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) had detectable effects on food consumption, cognitive functions, and neurochemistry. (Pubmed2).
What is most interesting in this study is that Delta THC 8 has increased food appetite more significantly than Delta THC 9.
Furthermore, we can read from the studies Delta THC 8 has a slower onset of action but can last more in the system. (Pubmed3)
Now, all of these are rat studies.
Why we do not have more human volunteers to participate in human-based studies.
Come on you guys, you will get a free high, sign up for those studies!
Just kidding 🙂
There’s certainly a need for a human study in this matter, but you know it’s always hard with those things.
Delta THC 8 Cheat Sheet
So, what did we learn so far?
Delta THC 8 is closely related to Delta THC 9 which is dope and illegal.
No. 8 is legal just because the 2018 Farm Bill that states that all hemp products are considered legal so long as they contain less than .3% of delta 9 THC in them. And hence alas THC 8 can come into the market – for now.
The slight change in double bond in carbon chains seems to have an effect on potency and some patterns of functioning.
A lot of users state that Delta THC 8 has much milder effects than THC 9.
This can be a good thing because as we know the dope (THC 9) is banned for some reason.
It can make you drowsy, impaired and the feelings of high might turn out into anxiety and depressive feelings.
This is not to state that Delta THC 8 can’t bring you these altered states of consciousness.
And lastly from studies there seem to be clues that
Delta THC 8 has a longer effect and it might be boosting appetite more profoundly.
And one thing I am particularly curious about is about building tolerance to cataleptogenic (hallucinogenic) effects.
This might be an overstatement, but there seems to be a clue. Delta THC 8 seems to be building tolerance to “high” effects much faster than Delta THC 9.
More studies need to be conducted, however, while Delta THC 8 still prevailing in the legality zone, we will be also able to learn from consumers’ behaviors and reviews.
Let’s finally talk about the damn gummies, shall we?
Delta THC 8 Gummies
Gummies are great!
Here’s why we love them:
- Delta THC 8 Gummies are convenient.
- They are easy to dose
- They may help you destress
- It is probable they promote gut health
- Delta THC 8 gummies may help you fall asleep fast….
- …and wake up feeling refreshed!
- And gummies are affordable
CBD gummies are also easy to dose. Why? Because each gummy contains a standard amount of cannabinoids.
Meeting your endocannabinoid system’s daily needs is as easy as taking a single gummy per day — you can set it and forget it. With CBD gummies there’s no need to do any measuring or calculating, unlike some other delivery methods.
What is the optimum level of Delta THC 8 Gummies that are not known exactly?
Most of the Delta THC 8 Gummies come of 25 – 30mg per gummy bear.
Measured in the THC 9 level this can be a substantial amount to get high.
But, since Delta THC 8 is milder this might bring the feeling of relaxation and certain ease of mind.
Can you get high though?
Yes, you can!
One good thing is that most of these gummies are packed with CBD and CBD has anxiolytic effects and it sort of turns down the effects of THC.
But, if you eat too many bears, you probably will get high.
Well, enjoy your legal high then! (It won’t be for long probably).
